Welcome to our Active Crew page!
The ACTIVE Crew is a diverse group of young people in your school who work together to have a positive impact on physical activity and school sport. They aim to promote the School Games programme, encourage physical activity, advocate the school games values, and raise the profile of physical activity/school sport in your school. The young people involved in the ACTIVE crew will learn and develop a range of leadership, teamwork, communication and organisation skills.
Having an Active Crew helps to create positive experiences which support the character development of young people. This forms part of the requirements for School Games mark so will help those schools planning to apply for Gold or Platinum next year.
On this page we will be adding resources to help you to support your ACTIVE Crew with the programme. To empower our young people we have kept the programme very flexible but full of ideas. There are 6 sections for the ACTIVE crew to work towards over the year, each letter in the word ACTIVE represents one of these areas. To complete the programme a minimum of one challenge from each section needs to be completed.
You could select young people for your Active Crew – or why not invite them to apply? Below is a couple to documents which can help you with this.
