Our Services

School Games

Part of our role is to implement the Government’s ‘School Games’ programme. Nationally there are 450 School Games Organisers (SGO’s), who receive funding

from the Government to support schools in their local area. SGO’s have several key roles:

-to coordinate appropriate competitive opportunities for all young people from key stage 2-4.

-to recruit, train and deploy a suitable work force.

-to support the development of club opportunities for all young people.

 

Our Partnership Services

In addition to the School Games programme we offer an extensive menu of services and additional opportunities to our schools.

These services include:

-staff training including Teacher’s, TA’s and Lunchtime Supervisors to ensure sustainability in the teaching of high quality PE and the development of physical activity opportunities.

-we provide Primary PE Specialist teachers to support the deliver of PE

-additional competitions and festivals for KS1 and KS2 pupils to ensure all children have access to experiencing larger events.

-a range of event days and opportunities to introduce new sports, activities and skills.
