This event is targeted at children in year 7 or 8 who would benefit from taking part in this event which aims to give them a positive experience of physical activity and competition.
The Dodgeball Festivals are designed to target cohorts of students who do not regularly participate in extracurricular physical activity. The students selected to participate in the festivals should be students who do not have the opportunity to represent their school in sporting competitions. Each festival is designed for both boys and girls to participate in a mixed team.
A Dodgeball team consists of 6 participating players. Schools should bring a minimum of 6 and maximum of 10 students to the festival.
Each festival will last for 2 hours and will be split into two parts:
Part 1 – Dodgeball challenge games to develop skills and build confidence
Part 2 – Inter school Dodgeball Tournament
Each school is elligible to enter one team, if you would be interested in bringing two teams please note this in the comments section and we will accommodate this where possible on a first come basis.
n.b. the option for transport does not apply to this event.
