This event is targeted at children in year 6 who are currently below expected in Numeracy or who you have some cause to concerns about their progress/confidence in this subject.
This is a pilot event for 2022.
This event is about getting active and having fun while practising and helping to embed maths skills needed for year 6. The activities are designed by Teach Active who are a specialised provider in resources which deliver the primary Maths and English curriculum through physical activity. As well as engaging your target group of children by approaching the learning from a physical perspective, this festival aims to give teachers a sample/taste of the kinds of activities involved and how as a school you can use such activities to link to the 60 active minute agenda.
You are able to bring 1 group of up to 10 young people from year 6.
The venue is Littleport and East Cambs Academy.
