As part of your subscription to the Witchford School Sports Partnership, you are able to send up to 6 pupils to a half day training event. We recommend this for your sports crews. This year, we will be running this Primary leadership Event at the Weatheralls Primary School in Soham between 9:30 and 11:30 on Monday the 8th October. Please note that we are unable to provide transport to this event as it is not a competition or festival. It will be your responsibility to arrange transport to and from the event and we ask that a member of school staff accompanies the group and remains with them throughout the training.
The exact format of the morning will depend on the number of schools that sign up, but here is the suggested outline:
Sports Crew Training Event
The purpose of this half day event is to give your sports crews (maximum of 6 attendees per school) the chance to share experiences with crews from another school, receive some guidance and training so they can organise intra-school competitions within their own schools and support staff in the planning and running of their school’s School Games Day.
