Team Information

Teams are made up of between 5-8 children of either gender (7-8 is the ideal number). All children will be involved in all of the activities.

We recommend that you bring your own first aid trained member of staff.

Format

You will need to arrive for 1pm, the competition will begin at 1:15pm and finish at approximately 3pm.

Each team will rotate around a circuit of approx 6 activities. Each activity will be fully explained at the event, teams do not need to have any prior knowledge or experience to be able to participate. Each activity will be scored, but the focus is on working as a team and supporting/encouraging each other.

School teams will stay together throughout all the activity rotations and collect team points.

All teams taking part will receive certificates and medals.

IMPORTANT: Following this event there will be opportunity for the winning mainstream team to go on to represent the district on Thursday 23rd March, venue to be confirmed, previous years this is usually at St Ives Indoor Centre.

If we have any special schools taking part in this event our aim is to offer an alternative pathway for them to progress to a Special School specific county Panathlon event.
