This event targets specific groups of young people who would benefit the most from having positive experiences of sport, physical activity and competition. The activities and outcomes are designed to reflect the young people’s needs and motivations.
This event is aimed at KS2 children who have special educational needs or disability.
The theme of this event will be around building the self-belief of the children taking part.
Teams are made up of between 5-8 children of either gender. All children will be involved in all of the activities.
Each team will rotate around a circuit of activities. Each activity will be fully explained at the event, teams do not need to have any prior knowledge or experience to be able to participate. Each activity will be scored, but the focus is on working as a team and supporting/encouraging each other.
School teams will stay together throughout all the activity rotations and collect team points.
