This is a TARGETED event for children with Special Educational Needs or a Disability. The intent is to provide a positive experience of competition for this target group of young people, engage new audiences in physical activity and sport, while improving self-esteem and confidence of these young people.
Teams are made up of between 5-8 children of either gender. All children will be involved in all of the activities.
Each team will rotate around a circuit of activities. Each activity will be fully explained at the event, teams do not need to have any prior knowledge or experience to be able to participate. Each activity will be scored, but the focus is on working as a team and supporting/encouraging each other.
School teams will stay together throughout all the activity rotations and collect team points.
IMPORTANT: Following this event there will be opportunity for the winning team to go on to the county round to represent the Partnership on Thursday 23rd March 2023.
There are five spaces available for this event. If the event is full please add your team to the reserve list. Entry closes on Friday 13th January at 1pm.
