This event is for everyone. The focus on providing 60 active mins for every child whilst supporting their physical, social and emotional wellbeing.
This event is supported by Cambs Cricket and is aimed at children in Key Stage 1 but is probably most suitable for children in year 1 or 2.
During the event children will rotate in groups of 10 around fun activities which practise the different skills in Cricket such as bowling, batting, catching, throwing and fielding.
The aim of this event is to offer KS1 children the opportunity to experience an out of school sports event in a fun and friendly environment. They will be able to work within their groups to practise and develop key skills while being active, having fun and working with friends. We also hope that the activities will provide staff with ideas and inspiration to support PE lessons during the summer term.
There will be two sessions available;
Session 1: 10am-11:30am (arrive 9:45am)
Session 2: 1-2:30pm (arrive 12:45pm)
Maximum number of children in each group: 10
Maximum number of groups you can enter: 3
