The ACTIVE Crew is a diverse group of young people in your school who work together to have a positive impact on physical activity and school sport. They are Ambassadors for Physical Activity, and this event is about giving them the information they need to be able to get the most out of their opportunity. The launch event is the first training opportunity, and an excellent platform from which they can begin their new role and have a positive impact on school physical activity levels.
Having a structure within school to engage young people in sports leadership is essential when applying for Gold School Games Mark.
All groups attending the launch event will receive a goodie bag and take part in the following activities;
- Overview of programme
- Introduction to their role
- Group work and planning activity
- Introduction to sustainable sport module
- Sharing of ideas and communication
